Nathan invited us to attend the defense of his doctoral dissertation at the University of Virginia. Matthew joined us. We didn’t know what to expect. It was split into two sections, the first half was for friends and family, the second was just for the staff. At the end of our section, Lynn asked the most important question “What’s this benefit of this?”. The university staff loved that question.
The next weekend, Lynn and I returned to Charlottesville to help Hannah and Nathan move to New York. We loaded up on Saturday and drove north on Sunday and unloaded. Then we sayed at Mary Beth and Paul’s house for Thanksgiving.
