Lynn and I took a long road trip this year. We drove 1,638 miles. The weather forecast was cool and rainy. It ended up being perfect the whole time.
- Western Michigan – We visited the Delisio’s in Onekama on Portage Lake. They are amazing hosts. Bob and Tony played golf, Lynn and Sally went for a walk. Dinner at The Glenwood.
- Western Michigan – As we left for Canada, we met Cookie and Woody for breakfast in Bear Lake.
- Canada – We drove to Whitefish Falls, Ontario. David and Lisa met us at the boat launch.
- Wakeboarding – I had to try this again. After four attempts, I was able to get up. I paid for it later with some very sore ribs.
- Hiking – Neighbors Dave and Laura Farner took us on a great hike to a hidden lake with clear, cool water. The bugs were awful, but the outing was very nice.
- Booze Cruise – We did a couple of cruises through the neighborhoods.
- Exercise – Lynn and Lisa went to a neighbor’s island for yoga.
- Central Michigan – We left a day early because Lynn had an issue with her temporary dental work. We visited Mike’s place so he could show us all the improvements to the cottage and garage. The place looks great. Due to rain squalls, we couldn’t take a boat ride.
