Lynn and I went with friends to the Elk Creek Winery and Hunt Club. It was very short but lots of fun. There were two main events. Bob went Skeet shooting with a few of the guys. We shot about 100 rounds each using a 12 gauge semi-automatic. Turns out Bob has a knack for this. Funny how beginners luck works.
After a great dinner at the lodge (also where we spent the night), we went to a small pavilion on the property for a Three Dog Night concert. It was a very intimate show. There were only about 1000 people at the concert. At 90 minutes, it was a short concert but we had a great time.
After the concert, we went back to the lodge and it turns out the band was there too. Although we weren’t “invited”, we went downstairs to crash the after-concert party. We got a great photo with the original members of the band.
It was a very fun weekend.
