What a long day it was yesterday, as all trips are overseas. We flew first class, so was able to lay down and sleep, which helped. Nonstop from CVG to Paris, then hopped a plane from Paris to Naples, Italy. Our first night was at the Grand Hotel in Naples, after a long walk down by the water, dinner on the balcony overlooking the Napoli Bay, we all were in bed by 8:00 p.m. Of course, Jackie and I discovered we were wide eyed at 3:00 a.m. because of the time difference, and I finally fell asleep again by 5:00 a.m. Our rooms were on the same floor, and we laughed everytime we went down the elevator together—the four of us could barely fit!
We just arrived in Positano, and our Hotel is the Eden Roc….this place is breath taking. It is 1:00 p.m. here, and we cannot check in until 2:00, so on the Terrace having lunch right now before we check out then head down the hill to the Mediterranean.
