Hola Barcelona

First thing in the morning, I took a walk/run along the beach. I’m very grateful to able to have these experiences.  Not seeing the naked guy on the beach would have been ok to miss.  No one can explain why there was a naked guy on the beach at 8:00am.

Thursday is a full day of meetings for me.  So, Lynn went to the tiny spa in the hotel.  It’s basically three workout machines.

At the end of the day, Sogeti had a customer dinner along the beach. Since it’s Spain, Tapas were the highlight.  Most everything is seafood based. Not exactly my favorite but given the extremely high-quality, it’s hard to not try everything.  It was all excellent.  Lynn and I both thought that would the entire dinner but then the main course arrived.  It was a huge piece of Monk fish. Still very good but we were already full on Tapas.  And! Desert was a berry cheesecake.

Alfonso is a colleague of mine and he got us lost on the way to the restaurant.  To put that in perspective, we should have walked literally one block.  Alfonso took us on a one-mile tour of the boardwalk.  Oops!.

At dinner, we sat with my Dutch colleagues and customers. Fregeeta, a customer from the Dutch railway company, she’s from Morocco and in the middle of a moving too. There was also Clemens, Christian, Frédéric, and Sanjay.  They all work in the Netherlands now.

We also sat with Enrique Ramos who is the my counter-part from Micro Focus.  He also has some degree from MIT.  He and Lynn got along very well.
